So, the solitaire game will be completed, and the fourth faction will indeed be Orcs, with the final battle of their campaign being the task of surviving for as long as possible.

Not quite. If the task is to survive for as long as possible, it means that something must happen in one of the rounds that will bring you a victory! But the Orcs will lose, won't they? :)
