Who thinks that an army is unnecessary?

Several wealthy and influential people decided to have some fun, make some money, and launched a device for sale that supposedly detected aliens. The business took off, just like in a well-known fairy tale – no one dared to admit that they hadn't seen anything, and everyone shouted that this device actually worked. A terrible panic ensued, and on the wave of fighting aliens, even the USSR and the USA concluded a truce, and everyone prepared for an enemy attack. Then, suddenly, the intrigue was revealed, everyone realized that they had been tricked, and everything became good for everyone.
