The old principle remains profitable when a person or a small group of people does something for the sake of enjoyment. The development of the sixth installment of Heroes (and if we recall all the Might & Magic games, their number has exceeded twenty, or even thirty :3) is unlikely to be done solely for the entertainment of the developers themselves; after all, these guys don't work for free.
