Here's what I have to say about the debate between Sphinxes and Spider Queens for the champion title: 1) They say that the Spider Queens will be an embodiment of Ash. I think this is a very unfortunate word choice. The embodiment of Ash is Ash herself in a material form. But how can she fight for some race? Then everyone else will have a hard time ;) It would be more correct to say that the Spider Queens are an image of Ash. At least from the point of view of necromancers. It is unknown how they appear and how much they have taken on the properties of Ash. If they have taken on any at all, because this is a view of Ash from the perspective of necromancers, and not an absolutely true one. By the way, it is they who may create such creatures using some kind of intricate rituals. In short: the fact that the Spider Queens are connected to Ash does not speak of their great power. 2) Sphinx is a large stone statue? Stereotype. I found the information quickly, so I will have to quote Wikipedia. But even that is not so bad.
