Do you see an influx? :D - I only see ducks. What's wrong with playing a balanced SOD, but without obvious, glaring bugs? When you tell a newbie that they need to install patch 3.2, is there anything wrong with that? So what's wrong with HD? The "disagreements" will only be with "experienced" players, hardcore conservatives. (like, everything that isn't 3DO is crap).
