These bandits attack guards, not other bandits.

Just this morning, these "guards" showed up at my shop and took half of my monthly income, supposedly for "protection." Many merchants complain about unfair levies, but everyone is silent because if you don't pay, their *friends* will come to you at night and anally punish ransack your store! However, you look like a pretty strong and smart guy. If someone like you could influence these "guards," I wouldn't hesitate to generously reward the brave soul.
