Don't jump to conclusions. A noble goal doesn't necessarily mean that the actions are also noble. Have you watched "Sin City"? Remember the episode about Marv. Or, again, the Holy Inquisition. The goal was indeed noble, but at least seventy percent of the people they burned were innocent.
