Yeah, right, orcs fighting under an elven banner. Sure.

But there are also other possibilities:
- it's a symbol of a new race, like lizards, for example (:p, yes, I've played King's Bounty a lot);
- it's disinformation (maybe the developers just put it out there to get people off their backs, or it's just some element of someone's armor).

Although, to be honest, elves are the most likely option. Besides, I've already said that removing an entire race, especially a fundamental one, and not a derivative one (I mean that mages are still humans, and dark elves are essentially elves) would be wrong. Although, then they should also make orcs in the original... And elves... It's still unclear why they're only making five races for the original. Are they stingy about making more? And in the expansion, they'll add one more, the newest race.
