I understand, I just thought that the first 3 players were taking the Specter Shield.

The idea is actually completely correct. I just looked at the map again with a fresh perspective and noticed one nuance that would allow taking the shield and still getting a skill total of 12. It was my oversight, but, as mentioned before, I'm not very good at optimizing secondary criteria; I always miss something.

For such a comeback, I'm even thinking of hosting a tournament for the 3-player map! Do you want to participate?

A tournament is worth holding only if it was planned to be held. :) My participation is unlikely and depends on the map and the time. And with the latter, it's almost always tight; this tournament for the 2-player map was completed in an hour, which is not the case for the 3-player map.
