If you're going for Chaos, Wing isn't necessary, as it's risky to charge forward with everyone; you might even hit your own units with Chaos.

Wing is actually great for leveling up Chaos! Provided you have elder druids. With other heroes, they move after the hero's first turn, but with him, they move before! This means that by the time the hero's turn comes around, his spellcasting will have increased two or more times. And to avoid hitting my own units, I try to hire emerald dragons instead of crystalline ones – just in case I need a meteor shower.
