The game will begin with character creation, choosing their gender and the direction of their development, focusing on strength or magic.
And why does this painfully remind me of KOTOR?..
As we level up, we will choose these abilities and skills ourselves.
I suspect it will look like in KOTOR - a long, long list of skills and the ability to choose a certain number per level. I'm not saying I don't like KOTOR's skill system. And it doesn't seem particularly cumbersome or confusing for a strategy game. As long as they don't introduce strength, dexterity, intelligence, and other parameters, as they did in the third Adepts. I think this is an unnecessary complication. Classic attack, defense, magic power, and knowledge are enough.
The author also noted that some battlefields may change during the battle, for example, tides may occur on the fields, and certain cells will gradually become inaccessible. Also, now on the battlefield, there may be objectives other than simply defeating the enemy army. For example, there will be tasks related to protecting certain objects or killing specific creatures.
But this is a new feature that I will gladly support. It promises to be interesting if it is implemented correctly.
