Knowledge is the foundation of the game.
Q: I would like to receive more detailed information about using scrolls from the library.
A: Scrolls are knowledge. A building erected in a city will be displayed as knowledge in the library (Library -> Book House -> Small Library -> Library - grades of the library). Mages discover new spells and describe them in detail in scrolls that they send to the library. Blacksmiths produce new weapons and save their descriptions. And so on. By taking a scroll in one city and sending it to the library of another, you concentrate knowledge in one place so that you don't have to visit all cities to study magic, so that more weapons are available to your warriors in the Castle. At the same time, it is desirable to transfer scrolls with spells to places where there is a building, for example, a School of Magic, which can reproduce this knowledge (in this school, you can hire the most effective Mage). The same applies to Blacksmiths and Scientists. This is the first level of using scrolls.
With the help of knowledge generated by buildings, it is also possible to combine different lines of development (magical, manufacturing, and scientific) within one state.
