Ubisoft plans to introduce a new system for verifying the legality of installed game copies in its future games to combat piracy: instead of a disc in the drive, a constant internet connection will be required. As a bonus, it will be possible to install the game on an unlimited number of computers (under one account), and saved games will be stored on the Ubisoft server, so you can always continue the game from any computer (connected to the internet, of course). The drawbacks are obvious: even in "single-player" mode, it will not be possible to play if the computer is not connected to the internet, and if the connection is interrupted, the game will "freeze." A group has already been organized on Facebook, threatening to stop buying Ubisoft games if this innovation is implemented.
