As for having brains instead of sawdust in your head – there’s probably a reason for that, right?! After all, you wrote:

and even claimed that there could be multiple Subdues... Well, I assume you've figured that out and realized that you can only Subdue one unit (you can, of course, Subdue another – but then the first one will be released from Subdue). Things aren't so straightforward with Berserkers either – because most Orcish units will already be engaging the Elven ranks, and the Ranger will essentially just enhance the attacking power of the enemy units (considering the scenario of mass Berserk through an enchanted barrage on sworn enemies) or it will be too late (in the case of a single target being hit).
