Knights struggle against a skilled Necromancer who doesn't prolong the game unnecessarily. A Peasant-ZOMBIE allows the knight to train for 3 months and then be torn apart by Necromancers at the beginning of the fourth month. This is where I (and perhaps not just me) have certain doubts about the success of this method.
It seems you haven't fully grasped the conditions of the battle. The Necropolis plays with 2 castles, while Haven has only 1. Personally, I was able to defeat 100 knights under these conditions. Furthermore, if the second additional castle for the Necropolis is Haven, the Necromancer can also take advantage of the preparation and train knights, then convert them into meat. Since the Necropolis has the cheapest units of all factions, it can also produce more knights.:p
