Would you like to play as a Necromancer with the ability to upgrade Vampires?

It's just not feasible in SOD – skeletons disbanding even if a "low-level Necromancer" is defeated, where would the line be drawn – will it be Papa or some other Galtran, and should they disband after level N? And so on. This would require checking saves every day, or what? And the skeleton disbanding mechanic is a real headache. This is a utopia for SOD; even a patch won't help, even though Cobra speaks reasonably about it, but in this case, there will be the same problem with newcomers not understanding this topic.
