Play TC3, you'll probably change your mind ;) I'm not against Earth or Air, but often Water can be VERY useful...
There's no point in arguing about the benefits of Water, but without Expert Resurrection and City Portal, it's difficult. In its basic form, they aren't very interesting. In general, Earth-Water is a good combination, especially when playing as the Swamp faction.
