Roads are slow, archers are built, I see a block of master gremlins on the road. On day one, I scout an external dwelling of swordsmen and archers in a nook with the view spell, heading there to also clear out some gold. On 114, after the stable, Val breaks through the gremlins (which cast Weakness and hit the marksmen :(, good thing there was the external dwelling, otherwise it would have been tough) and, after clearing the wolves, reaches the swamp. Next turn, I bring in the cavalry, simultaneously upgrading at an external stable and clearing the sword +3 from the medusas. The road is blocked until 19 Liches behind a Pandora's Box. I beat them with the loss of a horse, alas, but 5000 experience. Scout heroes color a Necro-village, horses and griffins at home in the Citadel, Val stands at the stable with Attack, Logistics, and Tactics.
On turn two, Nephthys at 3, I bring up the troops, fight until 19 Titans for a teleporter, on the other side until 19 master wyverns, reach the snow, a fork. I check one path - a treasure zone guarded by a hundred monks, I turn around. I color a Dungeon-village, stay the night there, double my mana (now 100), and next turn I break back into Necropolis, build level 2 Mage Guild, and head to the other teleporter for the griffins. Scout heroes collect money along the way. I break the griffins, then fight until 19 horses (which, due to a misclick, kill 10 of my marksmen). I color a Tower-village, stay the night there on 131, a scout hero reveals with the view spell. On 132, I see Taz clearing a nearby village and staying the night there with a small army. I bring up my troops and attack:
Tazar (6 10 6 4):
14 wyverns, about 30 lizardmen, 2 angels, and 3 basilisks.
Val (9 9 8 6):
65 marksmen, 8 master horses, 30 crusaders, 30+ master griffins, and pokemons.
After a brief battle, surrender follows.
Thank you for the game!
P.S. Any day now, they might start suspecting me of cheating too:) , but honestly, all the games from the Best final I win fairly easily. Whether I'm on a lucky streak or my opponents have bad luck. It's almost embarrassing:smile32:
