Heroes 6 - Discussion

Well, Heroes of Might and Magic 6 will definitely happen! This is at least proven by the fact that the franchise is developing, but so far, nothing has been officially said about the 6th installment. And what will be in the 6th game is largely rumors and speculation... Many of them are based on real facts. For example, it is known that Ubisoft initially suggested that Nival make Necropolis in the style of ancient Egypt. Nival managed to defend the original appearance of Necropolis in Heroes. But will the developers of the 6th game be able to do this if Ubisoft doesn't abandon this idea? As for the idea that the composition of factions in the 6th game will largely be identical to the composition of the 5th game (except that they are afraid of Necropolis) - this is largely... At least, that's what they think on the official Nival forum and, apparently, on HC. Many believe (including me) that the new race in the 6th game will be the Swamp. It was this race that was supposed to appear in the third add-on, which was being developed by Nival until Ubisoft decided that work on the 5th game should be completed. Or maybe (God forbid) Heroes of Might and Magic, starting with the 6th game, will be an RTS. After all, Ubisoft also suggested this option to Nival. In general, this is largely guesswork. To be honest, I heard somewhere that the 6th game will be developed by Hungarians. And Xaar from the official Nival forum analyzed this rumor. But who will definitely be working on the 6th game is still unknown. Only two things are known. The 6th game will be and will be a continuation of the 5th game... at least in terms of the plot.
