Orcs won't tear through just anyone, and their development speed isn't that high.

Cyclops are probably difficult to deploy on the second week, but I don't think it's necessary. These aren't the third-level heroes with very strong level 7 units. If Cyclops are deployed on the second week at the expense of, for example, a Castle with a Stronghold, that's probably a big mistake.
