What (or who) do fans of "Heroes" dislike?

I read point four. It's still nonsense... They don't consider whether the structure can withstand a gravitational shift... As for how many times the engines will be launched, it certainly won't be every day, but rather a few times a year, because the sun isn't "exactly above the equator" every day. What will happen to people while the planet moves at this pace?... And the finale - a satellite of Jupiter - do they even understand how absurd that is?! As soon as we move into Jupiter's shadow, we'll all freeze!

P.S. He's a physicist... He understands physics, but judging by all this, he's as far from astrophysics as he is from Alpha Centauri right now...

Well, in general, over the course of the year, the total displacement of the Earth from the sun will occur in a plane rotated from the plane of the equator by the angle of the Earth's axis. As far as I understand, each of the engines will need to be turned on once a day. The entire structure of one of the engines, together with the tower, should only be able to withstand the load created by the engine and its own weight. Perhaps this is possible. And nothing particularly terrible will happen to people, if, of course, they start in time. And I don't think it says that the Earth should become a satellite of Jupiter. It should only move away from the Sun to the distance where Jupiter's orbit is located.
P. S. Although, of course, the year will then last as many days as on Jupiter, and the winters and summers will be like that :). In general, I don't know. It probably won't affect me, but there...
