Heroes 3 issues under XP or Vista.

Windows XP SP2
the game runs normally on another computer with the same Windows version. I know that formatting will help, but I'd like to avoid it. There's a lot of stuff on the computer that I don't want to lose... :smile19:

well, formatting is not necessary for reinstalling the system.
even if formatting is required, what prevents you from backing up the data and reinstalling Windows properly?
if you really don't want to touch the system, then Google will help you; it will suggest how to fix it. I don't see any other ways to solve the problem.
