Pop music and your opinion about it.

I've never heard anyone call the music of Elton John, Prince, or Sting primitive. But the relatively well-known (in certain circles) band Rammstein has about one and a half riffs and a solo that lasts three seconds. But they have a "fat" sound. Probably very un-primitive.

In general, it's strange to hear that the quality of music is judged by the complexity of its performance. For example, the Moonlight Sonata is studied in the early grades of music school. It's considered very simple. So, does that mean Beethoven is now a pop hack?

Honestly, it's depressing to even look at the shelves these days. Everything is the same. I listen to 95.2, but I'm not picky about genres; I can listen to anything, as long as it's good, whether it's Black Sabbath, Vivaldi, or Arabesque.

P.S. Judging by the previous posts, you have to bang your fingers on the strings to say a word here. Yes, I'm a musician. I think I understand the topic a little.
