Fantasy vs. Science Fiction

I wonder, what is Star Wars, sci-fi or fantasy?

It's more likely sci-fi; the only element of fantasy there is "the Force." Even lightsabers are closer to sci-fi because they are created using science.

pps Should I abbreviate "sci-fi" like that?
