Regarding version 1.3:
In my opinion, the optimal solution was found by the esteemed Dreamcatcher on HP:
Sir Dreamcatcher, 12/12/2008 08:01 Starting with the winter season, a new rule will be introduced. As a measure to combat the practice of failing to confirm games, a player's confirmed victory will only be accepted in the table if the player has no outstanding debts on the date of the victory, i.e., no unconfirmed (or unrefuted) reports have been filed against them. As soon as the player settles their debts, i.e., responds to the reports filed against them, all of their temporarily unrecorded victories will be taken into account.
Before the ranking table, there will be a list of unconfirmed games and the nicknames of the debtors. No arguments, logs, or excuses will be required. If you want your victories to be included in the ranking, confirm your losses. I believe that the esteemed vbn will not have much difficulty making the necessary adjustments to the program.
Disconnections due to losses indicate a low level of play and a lack of integrity. Do you really need such games and such partners? Sometimes, the lights flicker in my place, and it can happen three times within 15 minutes. Why complicate things by fighting against this issue is unclear.
Regarding all the other new rules: There are many questions about them, but the main question is: why and who needs them?
Naturally, everyone has the right to play football in their own backyard according to their own rules. Many players have long settled in on two resources (heroesworld and heroesportal), and some have even ventured into .by, and guests from there also visit us. This is a very pleasant trend. Attempts have been made for a long time to create inter-portal (HP+HW) rules. I think that it is much more important to resume the discussion of that topic than to go in the opposite direction and try to change what was created long before our arrival and what suits most players.
Judging by the discussion in the thread, few people are attracted to these rules. Let's assume that you, KostyaN, and several of your like-minded people play according to your rules for some time. Get used to it. But how are you going to play in the Premier League qualifiers on HP, where you recently signed up? Or will you also try to introduce alternative rules there? And don't you want to get into the HW team? Even a small and seemingly insignificant difference in the rules can create huge differences in the tactics and strategy of the game. For example, I lost my first game in the summer Interportal because I had no practice playing without restarting after a match. And recently, I played against a very strong opponent on .by. According to the tournament rules, we played with the morale of neutrals. But the opponent has been playing with the morale turned off for a long time and lost in the very first serious battle, which I would not have fought because I have a lot of experience with losses due to morale.
I understand that some players explain their losses as a result of imperfect rules. And therefore, they strive to change them. Maybe it's worth thinking about how to improve your game? Play not only in a narrow circle but also with stronger opponents? According to your reports, KostyaN, it seems that you are working on this, analyzing your mistakes, and trying to change something. And I have been waiting for your ICQ authorization for a month, and there is no answer to my offers to play. And one of the best players on HP and HW on SoDe, LeBrona, was cleverly brushed off in this thread so that he wouldn't interfere with the progress by asking questions about the TE...
Summary: 1) we will not credit victories to those who do not confirm losses, 2) the old rules, with some reservations, suit me, although I would still like to refine the Interportal rules.
