Against which factions is it easier for demons to fight, and against which is it more difficult?

I think that against the Sylvan faction, it's not so much about the archers (although they are very strong), but rather about the elves' incredible initiative. Demons have significantly weaker defense, while the Sylvan faction, although their attack grows slowly, has the potential to inflict significant damage. While the demons are summoning troops, the light elves, along with Luck and Blood Vengeance, will already inflict significant damage. Dark magic would help here, but unfortunately, the elves likely have Light magic, along with dispel and antimagic. Demons are a strong race, especially their racial ability, but against the elves, it seems difficult. Perhaps I'm missing some nuances, and do the demons have a trump card against the elves?
