Which faction do you like the most in Heroes of Might and Magic IV?

I like the Fortress faction in everything except for the heroes' walking animation. I haven't delved too deeply into the specifics because I haven't played much, but the main problem was deciding which heroes to choose. Only with Fortress did it feel somewhat more positive.
