In detail. This color palette really annoys me, as does the overall graphics in Heroes 4. The portraits and menus are just scribbles, to be honest. It looks messy because the yellow menu and garish landscape are a poor combination... The cities aren't beautiful, and the buildings don't match the appearance of the landscape. At a resolution of 1024x1280, everything is small, and you can't make out any details, even on a 17" monitor. The monsters on the map are like tiny bugs. The "pseudo 3D" also doesn't fit. And, many people like the RPG elements of Heroes 4. If I want to play an RPG, I'll play an RPG. But I want a strategy game *goes to Heroes of Might and Magic 3*.
