In my opinion, I can't say that the AI has a strong intellect. It annoys me that the computer constantly buys 3-4 heroes and spreads them all over the map! It's hard to chase all the AI heroes, and you have to because, at the beginning, you have few mines, which leads to a small amount of resources, and the enemy takes your mines every turn without being punished.
