4.3. A redeemed, escaped, or ransomed hero in battle can be used on the day he escaped or was ransomed. Buying such a hero is allowed, but he can only be used on the following day;

I understand that by the word used, you mean the hero's direct movement, but can troops be removed from him??? Or can he not be "touched" at all, i.e., you buy him and "don't touch" him.
