Hello everyone! The Professor is currently on vacation and has limited connectivity... So, I'm passing on his greetings and answers to some of the posts:
There's a new idea. I've been thinking about it for a while. Basically, we could create a new spell. I don't know what to call it, but the idea is that if a hero is on the top level of the map, using this spell will move them to the bottom level, and vice versa. Condition: the place where the hero should "land" must be free. If you don't want the spell, please, we can create some kind of artifact with the same properties.
Once again, I wish you good luck.
The idea is very good; we have something like an "idea bank" on our closed forum, where we place all the most significant and interesting ideas. This one definitely belongs there. Regarding "СОГ" - it's original and might diversify the tactics. I'm not sure if we can implement something like this in the first version, but it's quite possible in the future; at least, we've taken it into consideration. (The thing is that making heroes shoot would mean re-creating the models for each of them, and as you can imagine, that will take quite a bit of time.)
Don't make the arrows like the ones from the Arctic Snipers in WoG, and if possible, fix them altogether (then make the flames more realistic for the Lava Snipers too - I forgot what they're called).
We've decided to remove the additional snipers for now. The idea is a bit far-fetched. I think everyone will be interested to know which of the new WoG monsters will remain. The most interesting ones will stay, namely: Nightmares (fire horses, new 3D model), their upgrade, Fires (also a new model), Werewolves (will move from neutral creatures to Necropolis, new model), Sorceresses (in the new city, Port - Priestesses, you could say they are their analogue, new model), and possibly Dragons and Ghosts will be added later (in the second version of the add-on), also with new models; both will move to Necropolis.

P.S. People, don't remain indifferent, write new ideas for the add-on in this thread; you want to play what you like, right? Write, and we'll all discuss them together... (Let's start with mine). You can ask questions, and I'll answer...
P.S.S. I'm not part of the Professor's team. I'm just a Heroes fan, and I want the game to become even better than it is now...
P.S.S.S. Please, come up with ideas and write them here, not in "new ideas," where half of the ideas are just jokes; I think the Professor will answer each message and analyze it. And almost nothing will come out of the new ideas... I apologize in advance to the authors of those messages.

Sincerely, just a cat. All the best!
Good luck to you too. Write any, even the most daring suggestions; we won't ignore any idea. 2 Arseny Thank you for the idea; I think I'll please you to some extent - a month ago, it was decided in HotA to create a unique combat unit for each city; for most of them, similar descriptions and concepts have been created - the models are under development. Here, for example, is the combat unit of the new city, Kronverk - the Bombard: 2 Dark Dragon and kot_prosto
By the way, the add-on developers rarely come here, and to post news, and the ideas for the add-on don't live here.
And they live here too :) They live everywhere where we have topics about the add-on that we control.
And what, is my campaign for nothing???
:) The campaign is definitely useful - the more ideas, the better. :)
Yes, the castles could be a little more impressive... they're kind of like toys... IMHO.
Well, there wasn't much room to spread out on the battlefield, so that's how the developers did it - a little conditionally, simplified, schematically - so that it's clear what the city walls are, but without unnecessary realism, which doesn't really affect the tactics of the battle and the strategy of the game. ps: We haven't posted new screenshots in this thread for a while, but so that we don't appear empty-handed, here's an animation of one of the alternative new units of the Castle - the Dragon Slayer:
