Advantages of Mages over other races.

I would argue with that:)... Academy has good special abilities, almost all of them;)... But putting it in second place somehow doesn't seem right...

I don't argue, the Academy's special abilities are great:), but Eternal Luck is still better, because many spells in Heroes aren't that great, but double damage attacks are just awesome:D))).
