Maybe you forgot or didn't know, but I'll remind you that at one time, in a tournament for the single-player game, Catch CONSCIOUSLY violated the Letter of the law by playing on a prohibited version (well, okay, I'm against formalism, I'm for the essence), and UNCONSCIOUSLY violated the Spirit of the law and GAINED a decisive advantage, because no one could reproduce the behavior of the AI.
