The stages of the World Cup are also independent tournaments, and their regulations are derived from the regulations of the tournaments for these specific games. During the consultations, it was decided that there would be no connection between the LMS and the Van Canningham Memorial Tournament in 2008. I am glad that there were people willing to engage in dialogue, during which certain points that allow for different interpretations were clarified.

I can understand you as a person who cares about the fate and position of the LMS, but this organization does not evoke much sympathy among most forum users, unlike the World Cup tournament. This fact needs to be accepted. What the reasons are and how justified they are is a separate conversation. Therefore, the reasons why the idea of the LMS overseeing the tournament caused a lot of negative emotions are understandable, especially since it is not really its area of expertise. But this does not mean that the LMS should not interact with the tournament. Why not have the League organize a proper clan competition? What is the point of individual clan wars if, in addition to the overall clan rating, you can, for example, take the 3 best results for each clan and determine the winning clan for the stage with cups and official recognition. By summing up the results of 10 stages, we get the winner of the World Cup in the clan competition. A separate Pilots Championship, a separate Constructors Cup. Isn't that within the scope of the LMS? Encourage clans (and therefore players) to play all the games and not just with one representative, but not to sort out who lowered whose rating. Yes, fighting against rudeness is a necessary thing, but perhaps if clans have more things to do in tournaments and more objective indicators, there will be fewer disputes.
