Just don't take resources from anywhere...
As I already wrote, I created most of the "resources" myself, or, at worst, I radically edited them, bringing them into a suitable form for insertion into the game myself. I collect resources from myself and from some other sources into one topic to make it more relevant, but I am involved in almost every attachment. And in general, read my previous message more carefully.
For example, how do you suggest labeling portraits? Should the author be written on each one?
This is primarily the task and problem of the author. I, as the portrait editor (I reworked them into the required format, size, replaced them with old ones, taking into account the color scheme, and assigned the appropriate number), do not think it is necessary to write myself on each of them as the editor, and the artists themselves, for obvious reasons, did not consider it necessary. In this case, it is better to put a readme file in the Zip folder with the portraits, where you indicate the author and everything you think is necessary to indicate about them. I do not see any other ways to indicate the original source...

PS: With such further development of events, I will have to rename the topic to Maps, patches, objects, monsters, and files for Heroes 3: Wog and copyright on them!!!
