Defended it? From whom? He was immediately supported. VDV Forever promised to take on the maps for rounds 1 and 3, Qwerty for round 2, and Strannik for round 4. The only dispute was about the method of determining the winner, but that was also resolved without him and with due respect to Alexey.

The main effort and time are spent on running the tournaments. You can try it yourself if you have the time.

I won't argue whether his role was simply great or absolutely decisive. But it was HIS role, not the role of LZMS. Was the idea of holding the ВК tournament initially considered at an LZMS meeting?
