In the tournament topic, I suggested the following option! Dirty_Player;148924
5) In total, there will be 7 results across all stages. You can take an average of the 6 or 5 best results, or simply add them up to determine the absolute leader! For example: 1000, 700, 850, 930, 1000, 740, 880. Sum=1000+850+930+1000+880=4660, and so on for each participant. This will keep the hope alive until the last stage and also compensate for a missed or poorly played stage!
I personally believe this option is the most correct! This system is used in various Competitive events, in various sports, where a stage-based scoring system is provided. The N best stages are taken out of 7 (in this case) possible! In each stage, points are awarded (in this case, according to the formula), and then the N best are simply summed up! And most importantly, if a participant showed the best result in these N stages, then it is not at all necessary for him to participate in the rest; he becomes the Absolute Leader rightfully and deservedly!
