Did you take on the Paladins right away without any prior leveling? (I ran to the stone first and only boarded the boat on the 4th day).
It seems I had the wrong strategy again. I killed the armored units before the Factory, the Fairies near the sawmill, the Djinns, Druids, and Elementals. I went after all of them, but didn't touch the Paladins or the Garrisons. I wonder what strategies the other participants used, because it seemed to me that there weren't many options.
