Bombs can only be created in the workshop and then traded with merchants. BUT! If you take the bombing skill, your Clan will consider you a grenadier, and since there are few of them and they are very useful combat units, they will start giving you free bombs from time to time. Let's just say, guiding you in the right direction. But the coolest bombs are only available in the workshop and on special order.
