Not long before meeting the tentacled creatures, Blooddrinker successfully valued the book at twenty silver coins. Nevertheless, its contents raised some questions. Firstly, it was clearly dedicated to the Void. Secondly, the author's handwriting had significantly deteriorated over time, which could negatively affect the final price. However, a good half of the book was written legibly, and its overall condition seemed good. Ottar didn't really believe it would sell for twenty silver coins, but there was still some chance. “Greetings,” Blooddrinker said dryly. “I must warn you: we might not be lucky. We live in a time that is far from the richest and most fortunate. However, let's not talk about sad things. Is the book in order?” Right now, he would rather be engaging with the tentacled creatures than dealing with all this. Some books, some Void creatures... they are not interesting to him at all. However, there could still be some benefit to be gained from this.
