Yashchur diligently pretends that Erika is not on equal footing with the other players as a cursed one... she is, as it were, immortal, but is under the control of a powerful, insane maniac and a mega-cool necromancer knight. And we work for this couple. And if we don't work, they will make us suffer in a truly legendary way. And Yashchur has been avoiding the main storyline for a long time, while the others were making small gains on the front line on their way to quest objectives, aka Obelisks. Yashchur's champion was dismembered by some unknown thing, which is so cool that it ignores any checks. And what a coincidence... Phantom has a motivation to attack Erika, and Phantom is very strong, can change her appearance, and loves dismemberment. She also cut off various things from my champion for fun. And not just from mine. Although not with her own hands. But the main thing is... Yashchur's champion is immortal! He simply came back to life after that. He did lose his gear and ended up in the sands, but he didn't die and wasn't even debuffed. Just a reminder that the cursed ones who didn't show up for the meeting with Tahn... were instantly killed! I don't understand what Yashchur is surprised about. This is the plot, and it's better not to ignore it, dismissing the numerous hints to go and help the others.
