As it turned out, the points do get assigned, but the spammer doesn't get banned.

and the problem affects not only heroesworld, but I'd still like to point out that the issue is widespread, especially affecting any mobile operators. If there are any options to change the certificate (if that's the cause) or something, I'd be very grateful, because at some point the resource might simply become inaccessible except via VPN, on any internet connection (and then even via VPN it becomes inaccessible — some already don't help).
If that's unfeasible, then well... Let's make backups and sit around reading and reminiscing........
