Kamistella led Faineant to his room. It was not particularly far from the mistress's chambers, but on the opposite side from the servants' quarters.
"Good night, my friend!" she said, bidding farewell to the artist, and headed to her own room.
The long-awaited hour of rest! Kamistella licked her lips, closed the door, and gazed longingly at her new roommate: a wooden horse.
"Ah, my sweet little horse... Now I'm going to ride you!"
Clothes belong on the floor, and a woman belongs on a horse. When Kamistella gets tired of riding, she will only have enough strength to crawl to the bed and quickly fall asleep.
Somewhere on the first floor, the servants were, as usual, figuring out who was in charge of this mansion. On the second floor, Faineant was probably strangling a snake. Somewhere nearby, Kamistella was riding her horse. In the end, everyone fell asleep and slept until morning.
A typical night for the mansion, once belonging to Kimchille Pesheng.
