The Death Hand spell was still very effective at killing heroes if they didn't have magic immunity.

I completed all the campaigns in the fourth game with the DLC on Champion difficulty, except for the default campaign for Stronghold; the first mission is completely broken in terms of balance. The Goldota campaign is my favorite, by the way.
