If that were the case, I wouldn't even know which implementation of this mechanic would be worse. They might as well add a condition that the spell doesn't work after a Thursday rain. What's wrong with the usual, standard Armageddon? 😅
And a significant part of the problem with the first game can be easily solved by removing the outdated counterattack mechanic.
