What would you change in Heroes of Might and Magic IV?

I don't remember how this mess looks in the seventh game, but it's possible that it's even more chaotic there.

It's a little less chaotic than in the sixth game, but yes, after those two, the towns in the fourth game are actually pretty good; people criticized them unfairly.
