What would your ideal army look like?

Well, it depends on the situation. It depends on who you're fighting, whether melee/range units are neutral or if the opponent (hero) has a melee/range unit advantage. You need to act according to the situation and predict how events will unfold. Each unit has its own advantages and disadvantages and is used for "its" purposes. I think it's pointless to argue and answer in such topics; it just leads to irrelevant chatter.
