Given the urgency of the war we find ourselves in, I ask for your permission to refrain from being overly verbose before Your Majesty and proceed to describe the situation. -- My name, should you wish to hear it, is Aiko Viresenser. We traveled by ship, Her Highness Naria es Diesra Arual's vessel, the Lightning, almost to the island, but unfortunately, our ship crashed into an iceberg, and we lost our crew of glorious sailors and our captain, Lammaris. We managed to complete the remaining journey on a lifeboat. Upon reaching the shore, we were attacked by an enemy flying vessel and, though heavily wounded, we prevailed. Now, we stand before Your Bright-Eyed Majesty to offer our escort to the allied Empire of Welfern and to Margel, where, with your consent, you will receive the appropriate welcome and safety befitting your Unparalleled status, away from the revolutionaries' muskets. -- Her Highness instructed us to carry out this operation in secret, so that our common enemies would not learn of it and gain no strategic advantage.
