On Thursday morning, Beata is released from custody without explanation.
Aiko is informed that her employee, Keliandra, died of heliosis and advised to be careful.

Aiko was already worried that the sorceress hadn't stayed overnight in Carneol for some reason on Wednesday, and the search yielded no results... It turned out that, according to the official version of the guard, the dark lunar elf couldn't withstand the sunlight. Normally, the dwarf would seriously doubt this, but for some reason, Aiko's intuition told her that this was what happened to Keliandra, even if it sounded strange... Or maybe another curse was to blame, like with Beata.
After mourning and asking the mountain mistress to accept Keliandra into her realm, the dwarf went to take care of her important business. She wrote a letter to the guard, thanking them and providing some information about Keliandra that Aiko knew (regarding what to do with the inheritance, according to the elf herself), and then continued with her tasks. Although Beata's return was a relatively pleasant piece of news, it was overshadowed by the mourning. Apparently, Her Highness decided to help them again with her influence – which is good.
