— So, this is how it is, and you don't even care how you'll explain this to the Bureau tomorrow? — Kelian dra groaned, struggling to get up, falling again, and barely moving. — Oh, if only Rinze had taken this capital! Being a mage here is completely useless. I can't even put up a fight against anyone...
Kelian dra crawls away from the shop in a rather pathetic manner. She doesn't even head towards Carnel. Or anywhere else in the capital. It seems like she's just trying to disappear from here. Eventually, she even manages to stand up and leaves the city, disappearing into the very forest where the recent battle with Victor Loss took place. In the end, a strange phrase could be heard from her:
— Rinze, if you heal my body from its wounds and my mind from the burdens of existence, then I will spread your word throughout this world!
Whether the goddess of another world heard such a generous offer or not is hard to say. But sooner or later, Carnel would notice an unpleasant fact: Kelian dra had gone missing.
